Rihanna's Hits Give Her The Record For Most No. 1 Songs

Move over, Katy Perry; there's a new record-breaking hit-maker.
Rihanna has taken the record for the most No. 1 songs, beating out every other artist in the 20 years that Billboard has been recording the chart for Pop Songs' radio airplay. This week, Rihanna's "Stay" rose from No. 2 to No. 1, giving the artist her 10th No. 1 song.
RiRi was previously tied with Perry for the most No. 1s, with nine songs each.
Rihanna nabbed her first No. 1 in 2006 with "SOS," the lead single off of her sophomore album, "A Girl Like Me." The 25-year-old singer also counted No. 1's for 2008's "Take a Bow," "Disturbia," and "Live Your Life," 2010's "Rude Boy," "Love the Way You Lie" and "Only Girl (In The World)," and 2011's "S&M." Rihanna's most successful track to date was 2011's "We Found Love" with Calvin Harris, which spent eight weeks as No. 1.
Rihanna's 10th No. 1, "Stay" with Mikky Ekko, is the singer's latest single off of her seventh studio album, "Unapologetic." The 2012 album was Rih's first to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
